Are You Constantly Tired or Living with Fatigue? Here’s My 5-Minute Makeup Routine
Other than my hair, I’m asked about my makeup routine the most!!! I’m really passionate about clean beauty and I’m happy to say that I’m also entirely switched over to products from clean beauty brands. The only thing left is my brow pencil and gel, but once I run out of the ones I have, I’ll change that one over as well!
My go-to makeup look is extremely simple and takes literally about five minutes to finish, so easy!! I’m quite clearly not a beauty blogger, but I have just enough skills to get by. For this look, I’ll be using:
*The Benefit products are the last ones I need to use up before switching to another brand!
I always start with my brows because I rest my hand on my face as I apply the pencil, so I don’t want to smudge any other makeup. For my everyday go-to look, I apply very little pencil. I fill them in just enough to make them look a little thicker, but I don’t spend a ton of time making them a work of art. Once I’m done with the pencil, I do a quick swipe over them with the brow gel to hold them in place. My brows like to move a lot!
Next, I apply my Bronzing Stick to my lids. I use just enough to add a little brightness to each eye. I love a low-maintenance routine that takes little energy, so I absolutely love products that can be used for more than one purpose!
After putting the bronzing stick on my lids, I use an eyelash curler and put on the mascara.
Now onto my face! I smile to accentuate the apples of my cheeks so I know where to apply the Anywhere Creme Stick as blush. I dab on just enough for it to be noticeable, but not a lot of product here. Especially if you’re prone to redness, flushing, or rosacea, you want to use very little or you might even want to leave out the blush entirely! Additionally, if you’re into more of a neutral lip, you can apply this stick to your lips instead of the lipstick I used for a more natural look. Wait before blending!
Next up is the Bronzing Stick for your cheeks! You want to put this on just below your cheekbone. If you’re not sure where that is, the easiest way is to make your mouth into the shape of a fish and it’ll make your bones stick right out! How much you put on here is up to you and how bold you want it to look. I adjust the amount depending on where I’m going, who I’m seeing, or just my mood! This stick is versatile and you can really layer it on if you’d like. Once that’s on, NOW it’s time to your fingers to tap on your skin and blend. You want to tap especially the edges so you don’t have a strong line left on your cheek, and you want to blend out the blush as well so it doesn’t look like you’ve got pink circles on your face. My rule of thumb when blending is when you think you’re done blending, keep blending!
Lastly comes the lipstick! This one is pretty self-explanatory and you can use either the lipstick I chose here or the Anywhere Stick if you’d like.
Reading this, I bet you’re like “there’s no WAY she does this in five minutes!!”
It’s really true! It might take you a little longer at first especially if you’re newer to makeup or learning the routine, but once you get it down, it’s SO fast! I absolutely adore this routine because it’s a simple, quick way to really brighten your face and make yourself feel great!
